The large heart shaped leaves of the kawakawa is a powerful healing herb. Since ancient times it has been used by Māori for its healing properties. The more holes in the leaf the better the healing. This representation of the kawakawa leaf is made with a special green mottled art glass reflecting our beautiful native bush. It is finished with black patina and has matching green and black beads and a strong stainless wire for hanging.
